Projected Texture Eyes! Instead of moving geometry, move the texture across the geometry, including the iris displacement! Great for Toon eyes that need to be really big.
Built in Blender 2.92. Works in Eevee and Cycles.
This is the learning project file accompanying a tutorial series on YouTube. It was originally my Patreon reward for February and March 2021. You can buy it to support me, or follow the tutorials to build it yourself.
