Random Modular Texture Nodes (Blender3D)

Randomized Modular Textures — each duplicate of the object has a different selection of 3 random Symbols (from a sheet of 9), one Border (of 6), and random colors. This is a node setup for getting a random tile of an image by manipulating the UV coordinates. There are several core node groups that can be reused, and example groups built around them that are specific to these Spell Cards from my Reimu project.

This is the educational project file accompanying this tutorial video on YouTube, which explains the whole thing. The setup was originally made for my March 2021 Patreon release. You can buy it to support me and save yourself some setup time, or follow along with the tutorial to build the whole thing yourself.

Created in Blender 2.92. Works in both Cycles and Eevee (except for Random By Island, which is Cycles only right now.)
